Saturday night we sat on the couch with Chinese take-out and watched Room.
Wow, wow, wow.
The main actress, Brie Larson, took home the Oscar on Sunday night for Best Actress. No shocker there for me.
You can click here for a synopsis of what it's all about. The topic wasn't the easiest, but it was handled incredibly well.
Have you seen Room? Did you love it as much as we did? We even woke up the next morning talking about it and agreeing that it was one of the better movies we have seen in a long time.
I read the book a couple years ago and I've been meaning to watch the movie. I'll definitely have to get a copy and give it a watch - if it's anything like the book, it has to be excellent.

The movie was on my to-watch list, but we didn't get to it before the Oscars. It's definitely something I plan to watch soon!

ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I've been wanting to see this, but I just don't know if I can handle it... I've gotten to the point where I only want to watch light, happy, and funny things because there's already so much bad stuff in the real world. I really may just have to watch, though, because I've heard amazing things!
