So without further ado, I give you the winner of my Uprinting.com giveaway for 250 customized labels to design as desired:
Congratulations to Hopsy of Kappa Prep! Please let me know how your monogram gift labels turn out. And thanks to Uprinting.com for such a cool giveaway opportunity for my blog followers.
I also wanted to give a big thanks to Meggan of Lila Grace -- she so sweetly mentioned me during her outfit feature in this week's Maxi Skirts and Mexican Food blog post! She was wearing a pair of A. Liz Designs earrings that she bought from my Etsy shop. Thanks for the mention, hon! (And if you want to see a seriously perfect maxi skirt, check out her post)
Lastly, I had a hot date last night ... with a fellow blogger. It was my first time of meeting Christina from Carolina Charm, and she is quite a dear. Christina is getting married in a few months and she asked me who I used for our wedding invitation calligraphy. When I told her that I did my own, she told me that she also wanted to do her own too! I offered to show her some basics, and we met at a coffee shop right near Michaels. She is a total DIYer and so crafty -- I have no doubt her invitations will be beautiful. I taught her a few tricks of the trade, and we went to Michaels afterwards so I could show her which pens and ink to buy. Now she's all set to create beautifully-addressed invitations! I can't wait to see how they turn out.
These are the silk peonies at Michaels that I created my wedding hair clip with -- Christina might DIY this too! |
And if you click here you can get her recap of the evening. TGIF!
