Five On Friday

It's time for another edition of Five on Friday and I do hope you'll join along!

Remember, all you have to do is post about five things on your mind, add our logo (found at the bottom of this post), and join the party using the linky tools below. Easy, and a great way to find new blogs and be found. :)

Oh my goodness gracious, Camille turns TWO ... tomorrow! TOMORROW! I've been so focused on the fact that her birthday party is tomorrow that it's unreal to focus on the fact that her actual birthday is tomorrow. Does that make sense? I will make special breakfast for us in the morning and we are having a few friends come over later in the afternoon. Nothing big like her first birthday, just a fun day of celebrating her with a few toddlers in tow. I can't wait!

The fact that Camille is two tomorrow also means that our wedding anniversary is two weeks away. We will be celebrating our fifth anniversary! I'm not sure yet how we'll celebrate, but our actual anniversary falls on a Saturday so I know we will likely do dinner out. It might be a quick one since Charlotte is still so teeny and feeding all of the time :) We don't really do anniversary gifts, a nice dinner (and babysitter) suits us just fine!

I took the girls to the Nature Museum this week and met two girlfriends there. Camille loved seeing the snakes (whose child is this?!) and turtles. Kids under 2 get in free, so I just paid for my entry. My girlfriend Anni had a half-price entry coupon which allowed me to get in for just $4. Such a fun and inexpensive way to spend the morning!

My sister-in-law sent Camille the cutest lavender pajama set for her birthday! Camille calls pajamas "nimmies" and we have just taken that cute name and we've run with it. So check out this sassypants in her nimmies. Cutest almost-two-year-old (wahhh!) ever.

We don't have any major plans this evening ... pizza and Dateline sounds just fine! We've had some beautiful evenings recently for relaxing on the patio with a little vino, so hopefully there's some of that in our future. Oh! I've also been making a two-ingredient appetizer that we've been loving. I'll share that recipe next week. Posting this week was light (we were just pretty busy!) so I'm hoping to plan better for next week so that there's a new post up each day.

Have a beautiful weekend!

TGIF y'all, and hope you will join in on Five on Friday this week! Cheers to the weekend!
