(See also: we survived our "two under two" month!)
Speaking of snuggling, this is our true snugglebug. If you've met her, you know what I'm talking about. She is happiest when cuddled up against someone on their chest. She's been a cuddler since day one, much more than Camille ever was.
We introduced the pacifier at 3 weeks but have not yet introduced a bottle. She's still sleeping in the rock-and-play next to our bed, but after this weekend we're going to start the transition to sleeping in the crib in her nursery. And she does NOT like to be swaddled at all, which is really different from Camille. She will cry cry cry until her arms are free, so now I just swaddle her from the armpits down for sleeping.
She's still in size newborn diapers and size newborn clothes with some 0-3 month clothes starting to fit.
Here are the items we are loving! Excited to see what the next month holds!
First Month Favorites
Well that sure was quick!! Tell is much more of a little snuggle bug than L has ever been- I'm LOVING it! He doesn't even like being held cradle style- he wants to be right up against someone when being held. ha He also seems to dislike the swaddles, whereas Lawter couldn't have been happier being snugged up tight. Second babes! Happy one month sweet Charlotte!
ReplyDeleteOh my!! Happy 1 month Charlotte!! The pictures are beautiful and so glad things are going well!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so much like her big sis!
ReplyDeleteOh she is so beautiful! You're so lucky to have 2 amazing girls!
ReplyDeleteHard to believe it's already been a month! My son just turned one month on May 10th. I am behind on his one month post!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty she is! Happy one month!! Have you tried the Halo Swaddle Sleep Sacks? If I remember correctly even the newborn ones allow for their arms to either be in, out or one in/one out :)
ReplyDeleteShe is absolutely precious! I looove love love all your snaps of her and Camille snuggling, melts my heart! <3
ReplyDeleteI had two "happy spitters"... It was an annoyance but never seemed to bother them! She's perfect!!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! We have the same swing and our little refuses to nap anywhere else!
ReplyDeleteLove the design on the pacifiers! Have to see if they have that for 12-18 months. Enjoy the snuggles!
ReplyDeleteSo so precious! The second time around is so different since you can't just lay around all day with a newborn! Neither of my boys liked to be swaddled and Miller was a happy spitter. It was annoying but he didn't seem bothered by it. Just invest in a lot of oxi clean stain remover.
ReplyDeleteBoth girls are so precious! All 6 of ours hated being swaddled, too. We love and use halo sleep sacks, they like having those little arms free! :)
