Five On Friday

It's time for another edition of Five on Friday and I do hope you'll join along!

Remember, all you have to do is post about five things on your mind, add our logo (found at the bottom of this post), and join the party using the linky tools below. Easy, and a great way to find new blogs and be found. :)

We have had a great week!

I got to have lunch with my girlfriends at Paco's Tacos ...

Camille enjoyed her own little baby-sized hat at Party City...

We got into some mischief...

... then redeemed ourselves by behaving very well at music class.

Let's talk television. I am obsessed with Below Deck and so glad it is back! I watch it On Demand, and it's on Bravo. Anyone else watching?

This may make me HASHTAG OLD for posting about, but I just have to share the goodness that is these scent-boosting laundry pods. Snuggle makes them and I purchase them on Amazon here.

They seriously make our laundry smell amaaaaazing and have been a huge help in making our older towels smell really yummy again. Again, sort of a lame old-person update, but I just couldn't help myself.

I hosted this month's Bunco the other night, and I made a really simple appetizer that was gobbled right up! The original recipe can be found HERE are these are the tweaks I made:

+ I omitted the marinara dipping sauce. They were great on their own!
+ I halved the crescent roll triangles to make two even skinnier triangles. This allowed one can of crescent rolls to make 16 roll-ups that were more bite-sized than the original recipe.
+ Due to the smaller crescent roll size, I cut the string cheese in thirds rather than halves.

I would definitely recommend this appetizer ... it will be perfect for tailgating season!

Lastly, I recently shared about the opportunity to send mail to the homeless veteran in Asheville's VA Hospital that is not doing well. He is still alive and is enjoying the MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND letters he has received! To any of you who mailed something to him ... thank you thank you thank you. I think it is safe to say that he has been flooded with love.

Wishing we didn't need a street-side mailbox because I much more love the wall-mounters.: Wishing we didn't need a street-side mailbox because I much more love the wall-mounters.

TGIF y'all, and hope you will join in on Five on Friday this week! Cheers to the weekend!

  9. I am so glad that you updated on Mr. Strong. It makes my heart so happy to know that so many people responded. Caleb insisted on coloring a truck for him, so a truck it was. So glad to know that he is being shown that he is cared for in his final days. Thank you for sharing about him, April.

And Camille - she is just too adorable for words, mama!:)
