Wall adornments!
Cue the angelic voices.
I like taking my time to find artwork that really speaks to me. Something I love, something I MUST have, something that I feel drawn to. Yes, we've lived in our home now for seven months, and I'm just now getting around to getting some things up on the walls. But I'd rather do something well than just do it quickly!
In our breakfast area, we have these new pieces up on the wall. I just love them.
And in our hallway is this pretty oil painting. I fell in love with this one immediately. It even has a typewriter-typed sticker on the back of the original owner's name and address, a lady from New York. And now it is gracing our walls!
Plus I think it looks great with our mirror at the end of the hallway.
Both new pieces (and the mirror too!) came from home furninshing consignment stores here in Charlotte -- the breakfast room pieces from Classic Attic and the oil painting and mirror from Recycle Boutique.
Those pieces look great!
