I Need Your Creativity.
I need your help!
At the beginning of the year, I will be celebrating a birthday ... a BIG birthday! Turning 30 is pretty exciting to me and I can definitely say that I've loved my 20s.
A lot of people -- who are not procrastinators -- do a "30 Before 30" list. One that includes really big "landmark" things, perhaps skydiving or getting a tattoo. Don't worry mom, I won't be doing either.
Alas, I am a procrastinator. Hey, at least I own it!
So I never came up with this type of list, but here's what I am going to do --
A "30 Before 30 .... IN 30!" list. Yep, the 30 days of November will be my timeframe to cross things off my list.
These things don't need to be crazy or wild or big, but just fun ... i.e., give spinning class another shot, or share a special family recipe in a blog post. But I need and want your input!
Is there anything you'd like to see me accomplish or post about in November? Put your creative thinking caps on, and let me know! I'll post my list of 30 items on November 1st. I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
I did a similar post recently! I have a little over 6 months until my 30th. One of my favorite suggestions I received was to take a cooking class at Whole Foods. I'm looking forward to checking that off the list. If you get some good ideas I may steal them!
ReplyDeleteI think you and Ian should go for a hot air balloon ride in Asheville!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I think you should do a random act of kindness! Like taking donuts to a fire-station or something sweet like that!
ReplyDeleteHot yoga! Power vinyasa flow, not bikram. Love! Can't wait to see what you accomplish!
ReplyDeleteHey! Love this idea! My suggestion is to write your mom and dad letters ( separate) reminding them of your best memories shared over your 30 years! Guess I'm sentimental like that would love it if one of my boys did something like that for me one day! Love you girl!
ReplyDeleteOoooh how fun! Is there something you've always wanted to learn to cook/bake, but have never tried? That would be my suggestion. It's an easy/fun thing to cross of your list. Also, try a food that you've never tried before. Another fun thing to use to cross over.
ReplyDeleteHere are some thoughts: perfect a dish; work out for a week straight doing something different everyday; sign up for a 5k; give money to a charity you care about; send a love letter to your husband randomly.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what you decide!
So fun! I've seen other people do these lists too!
ReplyDeleteWhat about ziplining at the White Water Center?
Or, what about making a dish that you've been scared too?
Mine would be Beef Wellington!
I would say guest post on my blog, but that's not exactly a 30 before 30 item.....BUT I still want you to do the what's in her bag guest post on my blog!! :)
ReplyDeleteWrite a thank you letter to a teacher or someone else who shaped who you are today in a very meaningful way. ;)
ReplyDeleteLove this idea and can't wait to see your final list!
