Yahoo Versus Gmail?
My email address contains my (now old) last name. I think it's probably time to switch over my email address.
Ever since my Hotmail account was hacked in 2004, I have been using Yahoo. Some girlfriends recently told me that I should consider switching to Gmail.
Thoughts, feedback? Do you have a preference? What are the benefits of Gmail over Yahoo? Help, bloggie friends!
gmail all the way! then you can set up google reader to look at all your blogs in one place! easy peasy! thank you for your sweet comment - can't wait to see pics of the wedding! is there a kilt involved???? (fb stalker, thats me!)
ReplyDeleteGmail. I absolutely love it--the gchat feature is amazing, I also love how easy it is to label and organize email. I've used yahoo and hotmail...but I'm gmail all the way :)
ReplyDeleteAnd as a side note--most doctors/lawyers/etc that I've interacted with because of law school (or my dating life--doctors that is) are gmail junkies as well!!!
ps--LOVE your rehersal dinner post. so pretty!
Gmail! I cant begin the ways to count that I love it!! not to mention GCHAT which will change your life!!
ReplyDeleteGmail for sure! It's so great!
ReplyDeleteGmail rocks! It integrates well with everything and I love how it connects with blogger and my reader, has gchat, and if you have an iphone there's even a nifty gadget called latitude that I love. Won't lie, the transition will be interesting, as it's different from hotmail and yahoo, but it's quite intuitive as you learn! Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteI've never used Yahoo so I can't compare, but I use Gmail and LOVE IT! Plus it has Gchat which is fun!
ReplyDeletegmail! My yahoo account was always getting hacked.
ReplyDeletegmail!!! I haven't used yahoo before but I honestly can't even imagine using anything other than gmail. I also use google documents, g-chat, google calendars, etc. You will love gmail. It is great!!
ReplyDeletei kept my yahoo to use for spam (like when you have to sign up for something online and give your email) and started a gmail. BUT i kept my original email (which was gmail and contained my last name) after i got married, i just went in to the settings and changed my name (how it shows up when someone gets an email from me) to show up as my married name. that way i didnt have to start all over with a new email, etc. but i definitely recommend gmail all the way - no spam!
ReplyDeleteGMAIL GMAIL GMAIL!
ReplyDeleteMy maiden name email is yahoo & gmail kicks it's butt!
