As you drive up our driveway, beware of the ghosts that hang from the magnolia tree. {Yes Ian and I totally made those with cloth, sharpies, scissors, and a few rubber balls}
I'm serious, they're quite scary.
Park your car and be sure to take note of the shrubs covered in spider webs ... EEK!
And what's that over yonder? A haunted graveyard?
I'm really creeped out now, how about you?! Is that a skeleton hand coming out of the grave?!
Come on up to the front doors and get out of that eerie yard!
Oh gracious ... are those chains on the front door? Has this crazy place been condemned? Are you just shaking in your boots now?
Okay, the hay bales and uncarved pumpkin aren't really spooking us out too much.
But that thing sure is!
Okay, let's move inside now.
This place obviously has been left empty for a while. There's spiderwebs on the pictures. And, ew, spiders!
Okay, some pumpkins over here, not too scary.
And a Halloween collage, okay, maybe we're safe in here.
The mantle looks fairly harmless...
I don't know, those skeletons are kinda creeping me out. Let's get out of here.
The front porch light is on now, and it's not so scary, is it?
EEEEEEEEEK!
OMG - you went ALLLLL out this year. I love it. Those hanging ghosts are hilarious. Come decorate my house next! I am totally slacking on Halloween this year....
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. I'm just proud when I incorporate my Lolita and Peggy Carr into the holidays and seasons... The two of you went all out--the last picture of Ian is hysterical :) Your post inspired me to eat some Halloween Candy. haha. oxo

ReplyDeletewow...you guys go all out for Halloween! I'm more of a "fall decorator" than holiday specific...call me a tad bit lazy! ha!

I just looked at your pictures and thought...maybe I should get the geraniums and American flags (from the 4th) off my porch. Maybe get a mum or a pumpkin? Your house looks spookalicious!
ReplyDeleteYou went ALL out! I love it! How long did this take you? I'm not a big Halloween girl, but after seeing all this, I wish I was...
ReplyDeleteGirl, you went all out, didnt' you? If this is just for Halloween I can hardly wait to see what you do for Christmas! That graveyard thing is spooky and I love the picture frame and mirror, too!

ReplyDeleteHow much fun! Are you guys throwing a party? Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday of the year, and I just adore what you did with your house. I'm sure all of your trick-or-treaters will have a blast coming by!
ReplyDeleteAHHHHH I love it!!! You MUST throw a party. And I bet you hand out great candy.. I would get a good feeling haha.
ReplyDeleteSo fun! Your Halloween decorations are fantastic and yours will probably be the most popular house for trick or treaters on the block. I also love the Halloween collage, such a fun addition!
ReplyDeleteApril, this is the perfect Halloween decor! Love the hanging ghosts and the picture of your past halloween costumes!
ReplyDeleteYou have done such an amazing job! I love all of the little details that you incorporated! I put some fall leaves out on a table and hung a wreath, which is more than I usually do for fall/Halloween. Maybe I'll have to get on the decorating bandwagon...
ReplyDeleteHaha too cute. Everything looks great!
