Remember, all you have to do is post about five things on your mind, add our logo (found at the bottom of this post), and join the party using the linky tools below. Easy, and a great way to find new blogs and be found. :)

We still have a few more days before I will be sharing my personal Christmas wishlist, but I could not help but to share one thing that will be on it. This is actually a repeat of something I bought myself last year, but it's almost all gone and I just can't imagine another holiday season without it in our home!
The Voluspa two-wick Spruce Cuttings candle (here, from Nordstrom*) smells soooooo heavenly, and if you are like us and you have an artificial tree, BAH HUMBUG (but really I think artificial trees are the bomb), then it really helps bring in that delicious piney scent to your home. We have been burning ours daily, and it's highly scented. Would be an awesome gift for just about anyone or goshdarnit, just buy it for yourself.
* Nordstrom price was actually less expensive than Amazon price, and they offer free shipping. Duh.

Those in the Charlotte and surrounding area ... this weekend is SO exciting because it's the Pink Social Holiday Pop Up Market at Sugar Creek Brewing. I will be there representing The Tipsy Bunny along with my mom, and my sister Laura will be there with her Laura Cox Designs jewelry. Laura and I had so much fun last weekend selling her necklaces at the Junior League holiday market down in Columbia!

I found the cahh-utest idea on Pinterest and had to share. What a fun way to wrap some crayons for a stocking gift! Check out the very easy tutorial here.

Okay, so this is a little off the beaten path, but you know I can't help sharing about things that I absolutely LOVE. And this one is about a credit card we own (see? ... random!). We use Chase Freedom and have had it for a few years now. Ian and I have both been super happy with this card. There is no annual fee, and you earn 1% back on all purchases, and 5% back at different categories each quarter of the year (for example, this Oct/Nov/Dec we earn 5% back on all purchases on amazon.com, diapers.com, audible.com, and zappos.com). WELL, they are doing a referral promotion now where all new cardholders can earn $150 cash back after spending $500 on purchases within the first 3 months of opening your account. As a current cardholder, I can add your email address to receive this promotion. Just shoot me an email (alizadventures@ymail.com) if you're interested.

Lastly, the winner of the Blacklion $25 gift certificate, chosen using random.org, is ...
I live in Winston-Salem and my MIL lives in Charlotte. Can I enter? I LOVE Blacklion.
Congratulations, Rae! Please email me and I will be happy to mail you the gift card. I hope that the next time you come visit your mother-in-law, y'all can have fun shopping together!
TGIF y'all, and hope you will join in on Five on Friday this week! Cheers to the weekend!
Good luck this weekend!

We totally used that card on all our Amazon purchases the last few weeks! Every little bit helps... Especially when you have a shopping problem like I do!
ReplyDeleteIf it wasn't finals time for me at school this week I would have loved to swing by the pop-up shop that you and your sister were at!! Her necklaces are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteAlso thank-you for sharing about the Chase Freedom card! I am currently researching credit cards and that one sounds like a wonderful option.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! :-)
