What's Going On

Would you believe that I have walking pneumonia?!

Yes, crazy.

After battling a cough for two weeks (and feeling like it was worsening), I went to the doctor first thing Friday morning expecting the worst: bronchitis.

Although after hearing a "crackling" in my left lung, doc told me it was actually walking pneumonia.

Ummmm, okay.

So he sent me downstairs for a chest x-ray.

While thankfully the x-ray showed nothing more major, I've been put on doctor's orders of rest, hydration, and antibiotics.

I feel completely fine despite this crazy cough, but I've been limiting contact with others -- which includes me working from home the past two days.

Here's hoping I'm back to my normal self soon.
Cheers, ya'll.

  4. OH NO! Feel better soon, friend. I've had walking pneumonia before and it is no joke. The doc gave me an inhaler and antibiotics, but it took awhile to go away.

At least you get to work from home. You should treat yourself to some icecream. That always helps. :)

  12. So sorry you are not feeling well. A persistent cough is truly one of those things that will drive a person crazy. At least now you know what it is and have a plan to get rid of it.

Here's to hoping you are back to normal very soon!
