Gorgeous Vineyard Wedding

This weekend Ian and I went to the wedding of our good friends Cass and Kim.  Cass and Kim were inseparable from the moment they met, and they are a blast to be around.  When wedding planning started, Kim found a gorgeous vineyard just an hour outside of Charlotte, and the DIY projects started.  She is such a creative and hands-on person, and the weekend was just lovely.

After their rehearsal dinner, Kim and Cass invited everyone out to Braswells, a fun neighborhood pub in Charlotte where they first met.

The next day, we headed down the road to Shelby, NC to see Cass and Kim tie the knot.

We took a trolley to the vineyard from the hotel.  Upon arrival, they had a welcome wagon with a wish tree, koozies, and engagement pictures.  It was such a sweet touch.

This wedding actually started with a cocktail hour prior to the ceremony, which was a really fun idea.  Besides the vineyard's wine, they also had a station set up for white sangria ... one of my very favorites!

The wedding began at 5:30 and the boys filed out in their white shirts, bowties, and seersucker pants.

Kim's lace dress was just stunning on her.

Congratulations to the newlyweds!  We are so thrilled for you as you embark on your new life together.

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend as well.
