This beautiful Eric Javits Sunhat is $250 and the cute pink pompom sandals are $170. Definitely both out of my stay-at-home mom budget for myself.
So, how can we recreate these looks for much, much less?
STRAW FEDORA ($27)
Start out with this $18 straw fedora (I own it and love it!) and then order this $9 strand of tassel trim. Note that it comes from India, so may take a while to reach you. Just wrap the trim around the band and slip the ends inside the band to conceal them. Easy peasy.
LACE UP FLATS ($34)
The $12 pompom tassels are so cute (from the same Etsy shop). Simply string them on the laces of these lace-up flats from Old Navy that are currently $22. Can't beat this sunny, colorful look!
With a little bit of creative thinking, you can save yourself a lot of money on trendy accessories. :)
