Easter! 2017

Easter this year was really nice and relaxed. My parents were with us (Charlotte's birthday party was Saturday, so they spent the night with us) and it was wonderful to celebrate Easter with them again this year. I've been lucky enough to be with them the past several years. Mainly because two of those years I was pregnant enough to justify having people come to me! :)

We started off the day with Easter baskets and a simple breakfast of homemade bacon/onion/cheese quiche and fruit salad. After prepping for Char's birthday party on Saturday, I kept it really easy by purchasing a pre-made fruit salad from our grocery store and then adding in sliced kiwi and blackberries.

Afterwards we got ready for the day and then had a quick egg hunt for Camille in the backyard.

Before next year I'd really love to get the girls some beautiful matching Easter baskets. Growing up, we had white wooden baskets with our names painted on them. I think I'd like to go that route, or maybe do a monogrammed bow for the baskets. One year and counting to decide!
