A mom in a local reselling group here in Charlotte raved about these WALMART SHORTS ... yes, you're hearing me correctly. I picked them up the other day and they are great. They are $7.88! If you are ordering online, I typically would have picked up a size XS, but I wanted to err on the side of them being a little looser than tighter on me, so I went with the small. I'm glad I went that route. I wore them yesterday with a slouchy grey v-neck tee from Loft and some silver sandals. Definitely a great find! I'd love to order them in another color or two.

Speaking of a great find, yesterday I purchased this Gold Leaf Chandelier after seeing it on Copycat Chic. This is one of my favorite blogs to follow. They post a beautiful decor item (like the chandy on the left coming in at nearly $1400) and then a less expensive copycat version. I could not turn down the $147 version -- and it should be here in just a few days!

Cheers to beautiful, sunny afternoons! We broke out the sidewalk chalk yesterday from the dollar store and Camille was definitely a fan. Three cheap things you can snag at Dollar Tree for these fun summer days: sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and silly string. All toddler approved.
At my aunt's suggestion, we have started watching Bloodline on Netflix. We are three episodes in and we are absolutely hooked. Family drama -- everyone has it. Who else is watching?

DeleteWe're in the middle of Bloodline's second season and it's intense! Everyone has some form of family drama, but hopefully NOT like this family lol. Just wait!

I just finished the second season of Bloodline...i was so bummed when I realized we had watched the last episode. I can't wait to see what happens! Great five on Friday list!
ReplyDeleteOMG! We're obsessed with Bloodline! We've watched almost the entire 1st season in 3 weeks. We literally put the kids to bed and jump on to the couch to watch an episode (or two!). I'm so excited that the 2nd season is already out so that we can start right into that one. ha! Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteDo NOT waste your money on the Milkies.... They are a nightmare. The concept is there, but they leak. If you move or adjust the way you are sitting it just dumps out. I love Bloodline! It is a great show!

ReplyDeleteSo glad you like the milkies. When I was pregnant (2014 baby) I looked into these, but didn't pull the trigger. Maybe next time 😊. Also, April have you heard of the kiinde breastfeeding system? I hadn't when I was pregnant, but may buy also next time around. Pump directly into a bag and just screw a nipples onto the bag. Woah!

ReplyDeleteHahaha you mean when you feed Charlotte?!? : ). I say Lawter all the time when I mean Tell- I can only imagine how often I'd do it with two girls. I answer to my sisters name after decades of being called it by my mom haha. You've got sisters- you know! Haha

ReplyDeletethose shorts are amazing!! wal-mart, man, you never know! and i so wish i had known about those milkies forever ago!!! such a clever idea!! i hate wasting breastmilk and i leave my babies so rarely that when i have tried to leave a bottle there's not much extra to pump out! genius idea, those milkies!
