For Mothers Day this year, we enjoyed breakfast with my parents and then returned to Charlotte that afternoon. My biggest request was good, relaxing family time, and I certainly enjoyed every minute of it.
The thoughtful folks at JJ Cole sent us this outdoor blanket and backpack in their Blue Iris pattern. We have enjoyed it so much. The blanket is waterproof, thick, and comfortable, and it folds up easily for storage. The backpack has tons of different pockets on the interior and can also be worn with a shoulder strap or strapped onto a stroller. Super versatile, and nicely made. We used this set Sunday for Camille's little afternoon picnic.
One additional item they sent me is their Agility Carrier. Camille is too big for her other carriers now (we used this one for newborn days and then transitioned to this one when she was heavier) so I wasn't sure how she would do with this carrier. We will let her face below speak for itself.
Yep, she was happy as a clam! She had a little bit of frustration while I was first getting her strapped in, but that was just due to the fact that we were both still learning the process. Now that I've got it down pat, it's easier on both of us. You just slide the main portion over your head like you are putting on a t-shirt, then reinforce the carrier with a separate waist-wrap. I felt like she was very secure, and she was enjoying being held close to me. I loved having both hands free.
This weekend we have plans to take Camille to her first baseball game on Sunday afternoon, and there is no doubt in my mind that this carrier will be a lifesaver for that event!
I am so glad I had a chance to test out these superior products. No doubt I will be recommending all three of them to friends. You can check out some of their products on Instagram by searching for #jjcolestyle. And if you'd like to pick up any of the items like we own for yourself or someone else, I'll include where to find them below. Hope you enjoy some time in the great outdoors!

ReplyDeleteMe too! I think I'm going to need one of these for picnics in our new backyard!
ReplyDeleteAnd your knockout roses are so amazing!!!
I asked for (and received) an outdoor blanket like that for my birthday! We take it everywhere now so that L can crawl around and we hang out outdoors more! At home we take the "baby cage" outside and put the blanket or our outdoor mat under it too. Great product!
ReplyDeleteOutdoor blankets are awesome and that one is super, super cute! ...and can I just say that your daughter is adorable!
ReplyDeleteLove soaking up the nice weather before it gets too hot. Your backyard is amazing by the way. I'd love to know what you have planted back there.
