My scallions - day 1. |
Scallions (green onions) could be submerged in water for the purpose of regrowth?!
My scallions - day 7. Tripled in size. |
So wait... I have lived 30 years on this green earth and not known this fact?! Thanks to blogs and Pinterest, I now am in the onion-regrowth loop.
Just place them in a cup of water and watch them grow.
I change out the water daily or every other day.
A simple and tasty addition to salads, shrimp tacos, barbeque baked chicken, you name it.
Easy peasy fresh fruit squeezy.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! life changer right here. I love scallions and this is going to be SO helpful, particularly in NYC where produce is (A) usually crappy (B) expen$ive
