It's heeeeeeeere!
I am finally ready to debut our gorgeous wedding photos by the oh-so-talented
Ashley Brokop. I am going to keep these posts (if I can help it) mainly pictures with maybe a little bit of explanation here and there. But if you have any questions about the goings-on in the pics or if you need a who's who, just ask me in a comment and I'll respond back in comment or email form.
Without further ado ... today's post will all be centered around getting ready for our wedding day. Enjoy!

So completely in love with my wedding dress and getaway dress |
Sweet flowergirl Sidney, who made me an aunt that day (she is Ian's niece) |
My Aunt Karen made this garter for me. It included the very fabric of Ian's family's tartan, and also a blue rosette for my "something blue." |
This is a wedding gift from my sister, Sarah. It is a vintage ring with a gold band and pearls. It is incredibly special to me. This was my "something old." |
I loved having Mom and my sisters help me get dressed. |
My very soon-to-be MIL came to visit me in the bride's room. |
Ian had a huge bouquet of gorgeous flowers delivered to me at our wedding venue. It was such a sweet and thoughtful surprise and it brought me to tears. |

Sweet words (click to see larger) |
Quite possibly my favorite picture of all. |
The girls looked stunning in their Anthropologie dresses, and they wore their own nude heels. They carried white hydrangea bouquets which they held with the vintage handkerchiefs that I gave to them as part of a gift.
Ian gave his groomsmen these yellow and white checked ties for a gift. I made button boutonierres for all of the groomsmen and grandfathers. |
Ian and his two best men were in traditional Scottish kilts for the ceremony but then changed into grey suits for the reception to match the other groomsmen. |
Stay tuned for more pictures tomorrow, when I will tell you about the first look that Ian and I decided to do!
