Mother's Day

Mother's Day this year was extra special because it was also Camille's third birthday! We had a really nice breakfast -- Ian made the most delicious huevos rancheros. I told him that the meal was "big camera worthy" so I grabbed my Nikon (which does way more justice to food pics than my iPhone) and will share the recipe later this week. 

After breakfast, we let Camille open up all of her presents from her birthday party the day before and then we just played, played, played. Princesses, play-doh, dress up, more play-doh. 

My one wishlist item was a lemon bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes. Seriously the best.   

Ian and the girls also got me a lovely bouquet of flowers and a sweet card with the girls' handprints inside. 

I also treated myself to a gel manicure yesterday during naptime (checked out Vintage Nail Bar in South Park for the first time and it's my new favorite). And I allowed myself to pick one item from my Lipsense stock to keep for myself. Bougainvillea gloss for the win! These actually sold out completely as of last night, but I hope to be getting more in. Later that evening, we walked down to a neighbor's house and had a great time playing with the kids in their pool.
