Camille and Charlotte were on cloud nine when their cousins arrived from Ohio!

Thanksgiving morning we grazed on a breakfast casserole I brought (this 4-ingredient EASY recipe), a cheese danish, breakfast sausage, eggs, fresh fruit, muffins, just yumminess galore.
During the day I made bacon-wrapped dates (used this Pinch Of Yum recipe) which were so divine and yummy! I also helped out by making the fresh cranberry orange sauce -- I always add freshly squeezed orange and come cinnamon to mine -- Paula Deen's green bean casserole, and deviled eggs.
And on Black Friday we ventured out to downtown Boone and let Camille go wild picking out candy from the big old-timey barrels at Mast General Store. Luckily Char doesn't really have an opinion yet on candy (just the occasional emotional request for a "pop" -- lollipop) but in coming years I know our total at the checkout counter is going to be astronomical! Haha, once a year treat!
Nothing quite like a Thanksgiving in the mountains! And now ... bring on Christmas!
That last picture of you and Camille:❤️💗❤️!!!!
