The First Day ... That's A Big Thing!

Three Day Threes ... we're comin' for ya!

Camille started preschool yesterday, and I think everyone was happy to embrace our little routine again this year. She does have new teachers and she's going three days this year instead of the two she did last year. Other than that, we are just so happy to expose her to some great learning and playtime with school friends again this year!

I made her red hairbow and found the sweetest little smocked dress with crayons on the yoke for $10 on a local resale site. They are required to wear socks and tennis shoes to her preschool. I'd say she was styling yesterday, and she knew it!

She's every bit of three and loving it!

And as girly girl as she is, she couldn't resist finding a worm on the sidewalk and studying it.

Her school is nut-free and I tried out the Dr. Praegers sandwiches yesterday for her which are made with sunflower spread in lieu of peanut butter. She ate every bite!

After I picked her up, we went out to grab a little celebratory frozen yogurt!

Here's to a great school year for our little learner!

  1. I love a girly girl who likes to get in the dirt (or worms ha). That's Lawter for sure. Insists on dresses and tiaras but usually has a pocket full of the "best" rocks she found that day. ha And look at cool girl Charlotte in those sunnies, too cute! L has that dress too, hand me down from friend. She loves telling people they're toucans, not parrots. ha

  2. Soooo sweet!! I'm such a sucker for all the little school-themed outfits; I would love for Lilly to have something with apples on it to wear with her little t-strap red mary janes for her preschool pictures this month. I'm also so appreciative of school programs that are allergy-friendly. It's definitely one of those things I never cared about or even really understood the gravity of before having a peanut allergy child, but now it's such a cause for concern (Lord help me with Halloween and the holidays now that I have a two-year-old!)... so it's a major relief to just have the possibility ruled out at school.

  3. Yay, happy first day Camille! My Carrington is also in 3 day 3s this year and we just had her meet the teacher this morning (even though she has the same teachers as last year) -- first day is Friday! So excited for all they'll learn this year. :)

  4. Camille looked adorable on her first day! Also, as an allergy mom with two boys who are both severely allergic to peanuts and tree nuts I am so SO appreciative of nut free schools and parents like you who readily use peanut substitutes when packing lunches! Kuddos to both you and Camille's school!
