I Drank The Disney Kool-Aid.

We are back from Disney, and man oh man ... it was marvelous.

I've never really been a huge Disney girl, for that I didn't think we would be a Disney fam, but color me wrong. My princess-loving 2.5 year old girl was in hawwwwg heaven and even got a chance to meet several princesses (Cinderella, Elena, Belle and Ariel) and the most special character there, Mickey!

There's a lot I learned and a lot I want to share. There are some things I would consider must-haves for your trip (battery operated fan/mister and a spare phone charger bank) and others that you really don't need (like a special wardrobe of expensive embroidered matching family t-shirts).

I'll be rounding up everything and posting soon about our trip and experiences! We are happy to be back home, but I'm still reminiscing about the magical few days we just experienced.

  3. So exciting - I can't wait to hear about your trip! I am a big Disney nerd and even though I'm over thirty, I always feel like a kid again when I'm at the "happiest place on Earth"!

  5. I can't wait to hear about your trip. I wouldn't consider myself a "Disney person," but we have sure enjoyed our Disney vacations - once when the kids were preschoolers, once when they were in elementary, and just last month now that they are teens. I have a post going up tomorrow about some Disney tips, and have also recapped our recent trip. The Other Side of the Road

  6. My husband and I love Disney, and we've even been there several times just as a couple (close family live in Florida). We're dying to take our daughter there as soon as she gets a little older; I can't wait to hear all your tips!

  7. I can't wait to hear about your trip. My husband and I really want to go. But I guess it might make more sense to go when I'm not pregnant and we can use our kid as an excuse to act like children ourselves ;)

  8. We went to Disneyland/California Adventure a couple months ago (we're on the west coast), and it was absolutely amazing. I hadn't been since I was, oh, 15 years old, so A LOT had changed. I could go every year and never get sick of it, I think. :)
