Hello From Boone!

So, as I shared on Friday, we have sold our home and purchased another! The new home has more space and is in a great, family-oriented neighborhood. We decided to have some work done on the home which requires us to be out of the house for a while. I've posted lots of new house sneak peeks on Snapchat (@alizadventures) and definitely will be showing lots of the before and after photos here.

We are spending this time out of the home in the mountains of Boone, North Carolina. Not a bad way to spend the HOT summer days of Charlotte. It's much cooler here -- by maybe 15 degrees or so!

This morning I had some special solo time with Camille and we went to a local gem mine. I'm having a lot of fun planning out activities for us in an area that is a little out of our comfort zone. If any local Boone ladies would like to get up for a playdate at the park, say the word!

    Morning breakfast date (or pick up for breakfast at home...) - Stick Boy Bakery in Boone across the street from App State on Hwy. 321 has amazing baked goods.... Cookies (their "Magic Cookies" are amazing), awesome cinnamon & pecan rolls, great Naan, etc. There really inst anything there that is not amazing! Its not really entertainment but has really great food! http://www.stickboybread.com/ It is making this pregnant one hungry just thinking about it!
