Thank you SO much to everyone who reached out to me yesterday to wish Camille a happy 1st birthday. I was overwhelmed by how many emails and texts I had, even before 9am! It was wonderful having the day off of work and spending every second with my precious ONE year old. We had a playdate with her baby friend named Rose, and Rose even brought her some little birthday surcees, including two balloons! Camille loves balloons and whenever we go in the grocery store, our first stop is always the floral department so we can see and touch the balloons.

Ian ended up being able to join us yesterday for a little afternoon adventure at the park. Freedom Park is one of our favorite spots, but we hadn't visited in a while. It was so much fun, and we snapped some cute photos. It was a great way to spend some time.

I was so proud to see my youngest sister's necklace designs featured on My Life Well Loved. Mama-to-be Heather looked so pretty with her coral tassel necklace, and she is offering a 15% off code for my sister's Etsy shop on her post!

F O U R
I grew up with a lovely lady who just celebrated her first Mothers Day ... and it was a long time coming. She and her husband have been on my heart and mind for quite a while, and they experienced a true answer to prayer recently. Please visit her blog and read their wonderful news, but only after you grab a tissue or two beforehand. Jessica, I am thrilled for you! If there is anyone reading here who needs a little hope or inspiration in the journey to parenthood, this is a wonderful read.

F I V E

I'm getting so excited for the birthday celebration we have planned tomorrow afternoon. We will have a bubble theme since Camille is ALL about blowing bubbles with us these days. I can't wait to share party details and will definitely be posting photos on Instagram on Saturday (@alizadventures).

In preparation for lots of photos to be taken this weekend, I finally decided to pull the trigger on the Eyefi memory card for my camera. I went with the 8gb card. I'm excited to put it to use and have my camera photos wirelessly sync up to my iPhone and iPad for easy sharing! You can read more about what these memory cards do here. Definitely looking forward to this arriving tomorrow.
