Earrings For Mexico

earrings
I'm so excited for our upcoming Mexico trip (just husband + wife!) to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary. Packing has been SO fun, and anyone who knows me knows that I rarely pack in advance. I'm more of a last-minute girl. But the packing has already commenced, and it's been a lot of fun getting ready for this much needed vacay!

I haven't done too much shopping for clothes or bathing suits ... my dresser drawers are full enough as it is. But as a Mother's Day gift, Ian offered to treat me to something new to wear for vacation. I'm thinking that it's time to purchase my first pair of Kendra Scott earrings! They would be such a fun item to pack in my bag and get excited about wearing during one or two of the dinners out.

So ... what color do I go with? Chalcedony, white mother-of-pearl, or yellow?

What's your vote?

  3. I'd choose the mother of pearl! They are such a statement, I like the neutral colors best. I wear my abalone pair 2 or 3 days a week.

  4. I got my first pair in my Rocksbox last month and loved them (emerald color). The mother of pearl would be such a staple and get plenty of mileage!

  6. I have the chalcedony & white in the rayne necklace! I love white because you can wear it with everything but you may feel like the chalcedony are seasonless! Can't go wrong! So exciting about your trip!

  8. I have white, pink, and gray and LOVE them all! The pink adds a little flare to an ordinary outfit but the gray and white are classic and I get SO much wear out of them!

  10. I love Kendra Scott! I have a pretty bracelet that I wear all the time. I like teal personally, but you'd probably get the most use out of the pearl. Honestly you can't go wrong! Sounds like a fun vacation ahead :)

  11. I just gave my mom the pearl ones for Mother's Day and they were just gorgeous in person. I'm planning on buying myself a pair. I do love all three colors you chose though!

  13. I own that pretty green pair (Chalcedony?) but they're a custom pair from the SouthPark Color Bar, so I customized them and they have little grey stones layered on top of the green. I LOVE them- they're a little more unique then the traditional Elle or Danielle styles and the grey adds such a fun twist! I recommend playing around in the color bar at the SouthPark store!! See what you can create!

  17. I have the chalcedony color (along with black, fluorescent yellow, red, and mother of pearl) and I swear I wear the chalcedony almost everyday. They go with everything and still give you that little pop of color. Can't go wrong with Kendra Scott. ;)
