Today I want to share with you some of my favorites. Pardon the random post, but I personally enjoy seeing what other gals love, so I hope you do too!
/// Favorite Ice Cream Flavor ///
When I go for a sweet treat, I want it sweet. I love super-sugary flavors like cotton candy and cake batter! I've been trying to reduce my fro-yo consumption, but the new TCBY in walking distance is going to challenge that goal. I can typically justify it by telling myself that half the cup will include raw fruit (blueberries and kiwi are my go-tos), but some days you've just got to go for the candy bar chunks, am I right?!
/// Favorite Lipstick ///
Before our Europe trip, I went to the MAC counter and tried on, ohhhh, I don't know, THIRTY different shades?! I couldn't go to Paris without some fabulous lipstick. I ended up choosing Plumful (here) and I've been so happy with this purchase!
/// Favorite Way To Spend A Lunchbreak ///
Every Friday I treat myself to a trip to the Marshall's near work. Love, love this tradition. Wandering the aisles keeps me sane. :) The home and kitchen area is my favorite part with the beauty products area coming in at a close second.
/// Favorite Vacation Destination ///
I'm a beach girl through and through, but would you believe I haven't been once this entire summer? Our schedule has been packed to the brim with other activities, but we've got a date on the calendar this month to get some sand between our toes. Thank goodness!
/// Favorite Fast Food ///
Can you call Panera fast food? That's easily my favorite quick lunch or dinner spot. The Mediterranean Veggie sandwich is purely amazing -- I'm not a vegetarian, but I do try to limit my meat (especially at fast food places) and this sandwich always fits the bill.
/// Favorite Wine ///
Just about any sauvignon blanc from New Zealand, expensive or inexpensive!

ReplyDeleteI haven't been to the beach at all this summer, either. I'm hoping to make at least one weekend trip - I imagine yours will be totally worth the wait!

ReplyDeleteah marshalls, home to half of my bank account. ben & jerrys has a cotton candy ice cream, I'm not sure if it's new or just new to me but I've been trying to hunt it down since I saw an ad for it :)

Wonderful list, we are kindred spirits. I could drink my weight in SB, Cupcake has been my go to for a while. And drinking it while eating Panera would be heaven! And, my husband is from Commerce so we go to those outlets all the time, I was just at the GAP and Polo one for my little man on Sunday!

ReplyDeleteI'm with Dee! That Sonoma is delish as is a new one I've found called Butternut! We are headed to Charleston on Saturday and Folly Beach on Monday..can't.wait! Going to panera for a Junior League meeting this evening...may have to try that sandwich your mentioned! Happy Wednesday Lady!
ReplyDeleteMy fave ice cream flavor varies by season - peach or strawberry in summer and butter pecan or chocolate w/ caramel in fall. Same with wine - SB in summer and pinot noir or red zin in fall. I also second the beach vacay - always my first pick. We're checking out St. Lucia in November and can't wait!

ReplyDeleteOh, Blue Bell Banana pudding ice cream - HANDS DOWN! I only drink Moscato or Riesling and love Pacific Rim. We went to Napa and Sonoma over Christmas and I didn't walk away with a single red I could drink. I love the beach, but would choose the mountains any day over the beach. Grand Tetons for sure! I've got Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Home Goods all about 2 blocks from my office - YIKES!
ReplyDeleteI love cake batter ice cream I always get gummy bears whenever I'm at a Froyo place. Sauvignon blanc from NZ is hands down my favorite wine too! There is nothing better than shopping on a lunch break
ReplyDeleteI LOVE reading a great list of favorites! I'm so envious of your Friday Marshall's lunch breaks! I love wondering through Home Goods whenever I can. Telenti Sea Salted Caramel in my fave ice cream and Rombauer Chardonnay is my FAVE white wine!
