White jeans and me, well we're like peas and carrots.

So while I personally do like to break the rules from time to time, I also always try to get in my fair share of white-jeans-wearing before the start of September. Here are five looks for both work and play that I love.

What white jean rule do you follow? Are you, like me, trying to sneak in a lot of white jeans outfits before Labor Day, only then to decide not to put them up for the summer?
I'm so squeezing in my favorite white jeans (and lilly!) as much as possible before labor day. However, I see no problem with white after labor day though, with the right look!
ReplyDeleteI've been wearing my white pants a lot the past couple of weeks. Partly b/c of the rule, but 2nd b/c they actually fit like they're suppose to! HAHA
ReplyDeleteI do break the rule too. Not a lot. And, I wear Lilly after Labor Day too.
I really think it should depend which part of the country you live in. It's still summer in SC up until the end of September. I think you can really do whatever you want!

ReplyDeleteOh this makes me so sad. I have been loving my white jeans (and shorts) so much this summer, especially since I feel like I can justify breaking the no denim mon-thurs rule at work by wearing white jeans.

ReplyDeleteLiving FAR north of the Mason Dixon line I am a pretty hard stickler on putting the Lilly, Jacks and white jeans away post Labor Day (wearing them all with a vengeance these next few weeks). However, may break some of the rules if the weather is still hot the first week or two of September. I will be spending a lot of time in the Caribbean this fall / winter so they won't bee too far away from my suitcase. All bets are off when down there, regardless if it's January or July.

ReplyDeleteI love my white jeans. I don't want to think about putting them away just yet... just too many fun outfits left to wear. Love all your suggestions! I also think a warm day in September (especially in the South) is a perfect justification to pull them back out. ;)
ReplyDeleteI usually wear them (and other summery things) through September-- we still have summer temps, so I don't see the point in changing my wardrobe for fall, before it even feels like fall! I also always pull my spring/summer stuff out BEFORE Memorial Day!

ReplyDeletePlanning on breaking the Labor Day rule this year. I think white jeans would look great with booties, and even a sweater. It's so hot in Charlotte well past Labor Day! LOVE the gray Celine t-shirt look.
