Christmas Glimpses

Before we fully move on to 2013, I couldn't help but to share a few more Christmas photos from our wonderful December.

Mid-month, several of the Charlotte bloggers got together in uptown Charlotte for a dinner and ornament exchange that my friend Classic Annie put together.

We had fun stealing each others' ornaments and being "that table" at the restaurant, Aria ... nothing like a fun girls' night!  I ended up with this gorgeous animal print ornament.  Perfect for me, right?!

One Saturday night before Christmas, our friends Sarah and Cameron hosted a gorgeous Christmas party at their home.

Sarah was the perfect hostess ... the cocktails and dessert were divine.  Martha has nothin' on her.

The Friday before Christmas, Ian and I celebrated together.  We opened gifts and went to a nice dinner at Zink.

I got him cowboy boots and a North Face vest.  He was so excited about both!

He loves those boots, and I have to say ... he looks mighty fine in them!

Ian got me a gift card to my very favorite spa in Charlotte, Ballantyne Resort.  Oh my goodness, it's my total guilty pleasure.  I spend hours there taking advantage of all the amenities ... fitness room, steamroom, sauna, lounge with magazines and tea!

One more package remained under the tree, and I was pretty sure what the box contained...

My first ever "big girl" camera!  I went with the Nikon D3100.  I've loved it since the first photo I took with it.  Sentimental me wanted to make sure the first photo I ever took with it was a special one, so of course it was of Drake.  :)

And some photos before New Years Eve with Drake.  Love this sweet, sweet guy.

Thanks for letting me share a few more special Christmas memories.  I am already counting down the days until December 1st when our home can be decorated for the holidays again!

Your face in the picture of you opening the camera is so so cute!! You look like a giddy little kid in the sweetest way! Hope you are loving your camera! I bought a fancy canon last christmas and I still dont know all of the cool tricks. What I really need is to take a photography class. Maybe I will take one while on maternity leave. :-)

  9. Lucky you! You are going to love that camera! I splurged on a new one in October and I love it, but there is so much to learn. I am still on the look out for a fabulous camera bag - if you see one that is a must have, make sure to post about it.

  14. Hello there, as a newbie to crypto currency trading, I lost a lot of money trying to navigate the market on my own. In my search for a genuine and trusted trader, i came across Anderson Johnny who guided and helped me make so much profit up to the tune of $40,000. I made my first investment with $1,000 and got a ROI of $9,400 in less than 8 days. You can contact this expert trader via email tdameritrade077@gmail.com or on WhatsApp +447883246472 and be ready to share your own testimony#
