Pantone: Emerald is the Color of the Year!

Okay, that's it, I'm becoming a fashion blogger.
Because obviously it was meant to be.

My post this past Monday about my emerald obsession has now been totally justified by Pantone (a.k.a., the color gods).  If they put their seal of approval on it, then it's as good as gold.  Emerald has now been named the color of the year!

Here's my collection from Monday, along with a teaser of one of the blouses being from Walmart.

Emerald

The Walmart blouse is the second from the left on the very bottom ... she short-sleeved blouse.  Did you guess correctly?

Here are some other fun emerald finds:

By the way, I'm already done being a fashion blogger.  That lasted all of three minutes.  I can't earn that title as I sit here typing in heathered grey wide-leg sweatpants!  The jig is UP!

Do you already own any emerald green pieces?

  1. I have always loved emerald green! Bought myself an emerald ring in College but lost it :/. My eyes are green so I try to wear emerald and other greens to bring them out.

  7. I love emerald! I wonder if we'll see more emerald engagement rings as I feel like I see so many more sapphire ones after the royal proposal (and wedding), that if this color is so popular, maybe it will trickle its way into rings. ;)
