Fun On A School Night

Last night we went to bed at midnight.  Not typical of a Wednesday evening, but for a great reason!

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros were in town and playing at the Fillmore, which is a very cool standing-only venue with awesome acoustics and huge chandeliers.

We first fell in love with this band when their hit "Home" came out, and we used it as one of the background songs for our wedding slideshow during the rehearsal dinner.

home, let me come home
home is whenever i'm with you
home, yes i am home
home is wherever I'm with you

The show was a lot of fun, and there were some pretty interesting characters there.  Ian says he has been inspired to trade in showering for patchouli oil.

Umm, no thanks.

They have many more US and Europe tour dates listed on their website -- check them out!

  5. I once went out with a guy who told me he didn't "drink on school nights." Not even for special occasions! Concert looks so fun. Going to Lady A on Sunday and I can't wait!
