Five On Friday ... It's Almost Christmas!

It's time for another edition of Five on Friday and I do hope you'll join along!

Remember, all you have to do is post about five things on your mind, add our logo (found at the bottom of this post), and join the party using the linky tools below. Easy, and a great way to find new blogs and be found. :)

Tuesday morning, Camille and I got together with some friends and painted some hand-cut wooden ornaments. The girls still need a LOT of supervision with paint (I was on pins and needles for the most part, ha!) but it was cute seeing them clumsily hold the foam paintbrushes as they created their little masterpieces. Thanks, Sarah, for hosting us!

If you are looking for some fun Christmas crafts, here is a nice little round-up of things that toddlers can make or help you with this season.

I've pulled together a list of 20 Holiday Gifts Toddlers Can Make...like the little, itty-bitty babies just now getting into the whole "toddler" thing.:

I especially love the Mistle-Toes idea (here)!

We have had a lot of fun getting plans together for Christmas morning with Camille this year. Ian recently saw a kid in our neighborhood with a bike like this, and thanks to some quick Amazon shipping, and a secret wish sent to Santa, I think that it might be making its way down our chimney!

Hey parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends to little ones ... don't forget about the best FREE holiday website ever, Portable North Pole! You can help Santa customize a message to a little girl or boy. It is so sweet that it will bring tears to your eyes! I just hopped on the site and it looks like it's currently down for maintenance, but keep checking back. It's so worth creating a quick message.

Thank you all SO much for your great feedback on my holiday gift guides! It was my most fun year yet of creating these because I loved incorporating the reader suggestions as well and hearing your must-haves and favorites. If you missed any of the posts, you can catch up on them here:

  8. My girls LOVE the Portable North Pole videos!! I am going to get their videos made in the next few days...they have been asking when they are going to get their "email" from Santa! :) Also- that bike looks SO cool! Thinking that might be a fun birthday gift idea for James' 2nd birthday!!

  9. Yes! A friend made a Portable North Pole video for each of our babies this year and it was amazing watching their little faces light up when they heard Santa say their names. So magical!

  10. Love love love your gift guides! And we might have to check out Portable North Pole - my preschooler certainly doesn't seem to get the whole "Santa's watching" idea. :) Maybe this would help!
